One of our objectives is to work towards creating a better future based on the conservation of the environment and its natural resources, the use of renewable energy, environmental resilience and sustainable livelihoods.
We aim to teach children and youth about the importance of using renewable energy and the options it offers in various aspects; professional, labor, social and educational support.
Sustainability is satisfying the needs of the present without compromising the capacity of future generations to meet their needs.
Technologies that promote sustainability include renewable energy sources such as: solar, wind, wave, geothermal, and hydropower.
The depletion of natural resources is a concern for sustainable development since it has the capacity of degrading our current environments, and the potential of affecting the needs of future generations. Among natural resources, water is a vital resource, essential for health and human survival.
We provide education on renewable energy and sustainable building technologies. Through our work, we identify opportunities to raise awareness among people in reference to the importance of energy efficiency, and the use of natural and sustainable methods of energy production.
Our commitment is to purchase 280 solar panels of 360 kW, 2 central inverters, wiring, structure and labor payment.
The impact generated with the funds raised will be to decrease the energy bill to basic charges, generating savings that allow housing to be viable and invest in the welfare of the elderly.
Our commitment is to purchase an 18kW Solar PV system and a 36kWh storage system for the Serafin Montana Cuellar Hospital.
The impact generated with the funds raised will be to improve electrical connections and stabilize the hospital’s loads, the machinery used by hospitals generates very high electrical loads which cause high costs in electricity tariffs, voltage drops, peaks.
With the improvement of the PV system already installed, we will be impacting 6 indigenous communities in the Choco area of Colombia and at least 4,500 families, making electric energy efficient in the new indigenous operations.
We will also provide free training to the region to take advantage of their resources.
